Soon after his praise from Pete Tong, his collaboration with Bicep and massive big ups for Waze & Odyssey, Ejeca features on Sasha’s London based Last Night On Earth Label with his new EP – ‘Frequency’. ‘Hi Rollin’ & ‘Neva 2 Far’ ooze that garage influence Ejeca is only too good at and samples some amazing vintage vocals.
Our favourite track on the EP has to be ‘Time for a change’ - absolute love Ejecas ability to sample a heavy garage vocal with such a slow tempo & still make it work incredibly. It seems to be one of those tracks you wind down to at the end of the night, perfection!
‘Nassau Storm’ brings a dubby side to the EP, embracing with a driving baseline and good effects alongside a subtle melodic line.
‘Frequency’ is out on Beatport now & you can watch the official video of Hi Rollin here
