Here is a straight up boogie number from kiwi producer, who describes himself as a soul bustin’, jazz spankin’, funk slangin’ breaks monkey! For our Sunday Chill, we have an edit of Discothèque’s ‘Disco Special’ from the album ‘Intro Disco’. As he describes it “Chopped, cleaned, punched, fattened, mooged and sampled into a nice long NuDisco burner.” Delicious disco for a very hungover Sunday! Plus it’s a free download, nice. Enjoy.

After a two year absence the king of microhouse has returned as Rajko ‘Isolée’ Müller releasing his new
Allowance EP on
Pampa Records. The title track ‘Allowance’ leads the way in terms of quality and perfect for our Sunday chill. Simple but complex, play this to anyone who doubts the merits of minimal house and prepare for them to be astounded by the beauty of this track. Perfection.

The guys over at Luv Shack Records have started a new Podcast, cunningly named “Luvcast”. For the first installment they’ve only gone and got Australian disco don Rocco Raimundo to whirl up a mix that is perfect for some Sunday tunes. If you’re a regular of Givafizz, you’ll know we are big fans of his sensual edits and tracks on labels like Disco Deviance, House of Disco, File Under Disco & Tribute. This mix lives up to everything else we’ve heard from the disco genius, taking a deeper direction as he moves through the mix. Give it a spin, stick the kettle on & enjoy!

What better way to spend a Sunday than some guilty pleasures. And yes, another release from House of Disco, who are on an absolute role at the minute! This release updates and fiddles with some serious guilty pleasures that you’ll surely recognise.
Satin Jackets is the first to revive a track that needs no introduction. Dee Baby removes all the elements that date this classic track and replace with some chill out vibes. And then Ejeca‘s delivers Natal which plucks a very familiar sample and turns a trance guilty pleasure into a house groover.
Enjoy guilt free!

An oldie, but a goodie. Fritz Zander’s Lose Yourself track, released on Suol back in 2010. Those pianos chords are sure to warm you up! Happy Sunday.

So you probably wouldn’t expect to hear a Finnebassen track on the Sunday Chill – it’s more likely you’ll have heard one of his tracks rock the club the night before! But not today, as the boy has only gone and done a fantastic little edit! He’s taken Sade’s 1985 classic, Jezebel, keeping her beautiful vocals and adding a smooth, deep bassline – bringing this bang up to date. Lovely stuff.
