Eats Everything & Justin Martin join forces to release an EP on DJ’s Magazine Label of the Year, Hypercolour. Easily two of the most prominent electronic music success stories of the past 12 months, the duo put their heads together to produce such an amazing 2 track EP entitled ‘Feather Fighter’.

Both ‘Feather Fight’ & ‘Harpy’ lead you into a false sense of security from the start. They’re stripped back of the elements at the beginning & both drop a massive basses. Such an easy track to dance to – we can imagine they were double the fun to make.

Soon after his praise from Pete Tong, his collaboration with Bicep and massive big ups for Waze & Odyssey, Ejeca features on Sasha’s London based Last Night On Earth Label with his new EP – ‘Frequency’. ‘Hi Rollin’ & ‘Neva 2 Far’ ooze that garage influence Ejeca is only too good at and samples some amazing vintage vocals.

Our favourite track on the EP has to be ‘Time for a change’ - absolute love Ejecas ability to sample a heavy garage vocal with such a slow tempo & still make it work incredibly. It seems to be one of those tracks you wind down to at the end of the night, perfection!

‘Nassau Storm’ brings a dubby side to the EP, embracing  with a driving baseline and good effects alongside a subtle melodic line.

‘Frequency’ is out on Beatport now & you can watch the official video of Hi Rollin here

Shir Khan & Exploited bring us the 6th chapter in the infamous Black Jukebox series. If you´ve been following this series, you’ll know they are pure gold and feature some magic disco/house/edits.

Number 06 is no different and features 3 massive tunes from Kruse & Nuerberg & Polargeist from Hamburg, The Mekanism from Paris and Stefano Ritteri from London.

“Temperature Rise” is sure to be a big summer track, best listened to on big, main room speakers (no iPod earphones please!). Next up is The Mekanism´s “Good For U”, a feel good disco-boogie number – delicious stuff!

Last, but certainly not least, is “The Partylife”, using a sample I regonised straight away (Marc Dennis “Get Up And Party”). Welcome to the 70´s, welcome to the party life!

As always, this one is a limited collector’s vinyl only. Pre-order yours before it sells out.

A1. Kruse & Nuerberg & Polargeist – Temperature Rise

I´m really enjoying the direction Exploited are taking with some of these recent releases. Rather than the deeper side of house, James Churd is back on Exploited to bring another indie-sounding, oldschool disco infused track .

This time James hooked up with Fred Everything from Montreal, accompanied by a massive remix by Karmon.

Hopefully more like this to come.

2020 Vision have put together a collection of recent and vintage reworks of Crazy P, delivering a mix of classic re-cuts and previously unheard tweaks. On the line up of remixers is Wolf + Lamb, Huxley, Bonar Bradberry & of course Mario Basanov’s massive remix of “Changes”. To celebrate this remix album, they are giving a free download of Joe’s Bakery Band take on “Twisted”. It’s a slow, laidback number. Grab it for yourself. And you can buy the album here. Nice!

Paulie, one half of the Cosmonauts, has been putting together a few solo mixes recently – taking us on a journey through deep & disco sounds. The last two mixes have been top, and his latest in the series is no different. He also has some solo productions in development – we will be keeping our ears open for that as soon as it lands. Until then, take this baby for a ride. Tracklist to follow soon.

Hot stuff!
