Jeremy Glenn is the man who brought us one of my favourite tracks from last summer, ‘New Life‘. He has now released a 12 track mix to celebrate this extra day! It features the likes of Moon Boots, Cyclist & Pat Lok, Todd Terje and couple of remixes from Glenn himself. Gentlemen, time to avoid the girlfriend and enjoy this mix commitment free!
We haven’t been treated to one of Round Table Knights mixes in a while now, but it’s always worth the wait. The 17 track mix takes us on a varied journey of undiscovered gems, some popular hits and of course their very own Die On The Dancefloor remix.
Nick Scott, the man behind Gouranga, started the nights whilst at Uni in Leeds. Since moving back to London 2 years ago it has grown to be one of the capital’s most respected underground parties. Music policy has always mixed established cats with white hot new blood – without ever being pigeon holed to one sub genre. They’ve had the likes of Miguel Campbell, Shaun Reeves, Puente & Rosch alongside Stephan Bodzin, Tim Sheridan and Minilogue. Nice!
After their roadblock 5th birthday party, they are back this Friday 2nd March, with three supremely talented men of the moment. Danish legend Noir and Spanish magic makers Miguel Puente and Sishi Rosch.
With a huge thanks to Nick, we are able to give away 2 tickets to this awesome night.

Work Drugs is a Philadelphia based sedative-wave/smooth-fi group fronted by Thomas Crystal (more vocal/less instrumental) and Benjamin Louisiana (more instrumental/less vocal). They say they make music specifically for dancing, boating, yachting, sexting, and living. However, they warn – “never sext and drive” – good advice I think!
This is the first new Work Drugs single of 2012 and the first single off of their upcoming album. This is sure to take you on a dreamy drive. Another smooth track for a Sunday. Enjoy.
How are the heads?! What a night it was in London last night. From a massive Scandalism party in Scala, to the new club night vibes of FlinkMaPingo in Dalston and NME Awards Tour 2012 in Brixton – there was something for everyone to get their groove on to last night!
So we’ve managed to pull ourselves out of bed and get a few tracks together to help with this hangover! It’s a selection of downtempo disco & funk. And we’ve even picked a few from the line up that played at Scandalism last night – a track from Theme Park, Mighty Mouse’s recent Kate Bush rework and a chilled summer mix from The Boogie Cartel.
To start, we’ve got a rework of Alicia Myers great track ‘Thank You’, yes, thanks to last night and all the amazing acts that played! And then we have included a track from last weeks Sunday Chill, as it has been on our repeat list all week - Tony Betties ‘You And I’.
The following most be served with a large pot of tea and a greasy fry! Enjoy!
If you’ve got a ticket for tonight, you are in for a treat – as Scandalism host one of the biggest disco nights London has ever seen! The Scandalism parties have grown from strength to strength, attracting a plethora of new & establish talent from the disco / dance music scene. They found a home at The Nest for some time, but as the Scandalism word spread, they have been hosting their rocking parties over at XOYO recently.
Tonight however sees one of their biggest bashes yet, held at The Scala, a massive old and infamous central London venue. If you’ve got a ticket to the sold out gig, then you’re certainly in for a treat! Line up includes Aeroplane, Lindstrom, Mylo, Cosmonauts, Brodinski, Mighty Mouse, Lindstrom and more. Now that’s what I call a line up! Full list & set times here.
So for everyone getting ready for the big night, here is a selection of mixes to get you in the dancing mood. Scandalism, here we come!
